故事島五月0~3歲的主題是食物城堡，開場就會來一段Muffin Man,
安格斯現在去故事島都不會黏人，主動坐到老師前面跟著場唱跳跳，所以我一直沒注意到他會唱這首歌。
昨天睡前Angus突然對著我唱起"Do you know the muffin man~~~"
我才發現，對於一個臭伶呆的小孩來說，他這首歌唱得真標準!!!

昨天安格斯下課以後去外婆家，然後被帶去吃泰國菜，
在那個泰國菜餐廳外面的公園，又遇到了同班同學CHANEL，
每次下課來吃泰國菜都會遇到CHANEL，他媽媽說他們是住在隔壁的大樓，約莫是放學就來公園繼續玩了吧？！
安格斯看到CHANEL興奮的衝過去打招呼，CHANEL也是興奮的指著ANGUS回頭跟媽媽說：ANGUS、ANGUS

在IMDB的討論中，有過半數的人選這一段作Favorite scene。我真的好愛這首歌，大概聽了八百遍，看了兩百遍的程度吧！？討論的主題其實是Favorite scene，並不是Favorite song就是了。
這首歌在百老匯其實是第一幕ENDING的曲子，在1972年CABARET的電影版中，這個場景則是由金髮藍眼的超可愛納粹德國小男生領唱，在場獲得大多數德國人的共鳴，紛紛起立合唱，在優美悅耳壯觀的大合唱中，鏡頭卻不時的帶給一個猶太老人，手拿著半滿的啤酒，壓低了帽緣，無奈的看著週遭的德國人，好無奈，真的好無奈，他的表情令人為之鼻酸。
相對於這滿臉滄桑的猶太老人，滿場大合唱的德國人卻是各個眼神閃耀著光芒，彷彿看著納粹徽章就見到了日爾曼的光明未來，多麼的燦爛。

這是男主角上車離開前說的，充分的反應了當時的整個社會局面，沒錯，納粹德國很快的就席捲了全歐洲。
在下一段的情節裡，Natalia拒絕Fritz求婚時就說出：「你看不出來德國現在的情形嗎？我是猶太人，而你是德國人。」(其實Fritz只是個生活的像基督徒的猶太人罷了。)
總之，這首歌可以說是整齣戲一堆小故事的大時代軸心，在德語和法語版本的CABARET中，敏感的刪掉了這首歌，可是這首歌並不是真正的納粹歌曲。事實上Kander & Edd都是猶太人，這是他們仿效傳統德國歌曲所做的曲子。
這首歌在電影版中是由「A little nithgt music」的原始演出成員之一的Mark Lambert所演唱的，但是他並不是電影裡那個金髮藍眼的小男生， 根據導演Bob Fosse 的自傳以及Kander & Ebb的說法，因為Lambert 不願意把頭髮染成金色的，所以只能在幕後配音唱這首歌，取而代之的就是我們看到的這個金髮藍眼又可以穿著納粹青年團卡其制服的可愛小男生。
